Early Life History :
Tendai was born in 1975 at Gutu Mission Hospital in the Masvigo province of
Zimbabwe.
She had an early maturity when her family was doubly orphaned and literally
had an about turn from being a middle class family to being a hand-
outs- reliant child headed family.
As Paul says in Philippians, "I
learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer
need".
Career :
- She graduated at the University of Zimbabwe with a degree was in Philosophy, Religious Studies and Shona (Drama)
- Qualified in Systemic Therapy from The Zimbabwe Institute of Systemic Therapy, and latter
- Studied and graduated in Ireland with a pMasters in Adult and Community Education, Masters in Business Administration in Health Services Management, (RCSI and Michael Smurfit Business School) and Healthcare Management (Royal College of
Surgeons).
At the University of Zimbabwe Tendai was attached to Scripps and Pitzer Programme a cultural exchange initiative between the University of Zimbabwe and an American University. This was largely the beginning of her community development work.
